I use objects that I found in abandoned buildings. I take them out from their environment, where they were left behind. These items are dusty and broken, but I create a still-life from them, and the paradox of this genre plays an appropriate role. The still-life deprives objects of their surroundings in order to give them a new life, a life within the frames of the art concept.

I stage these objects, which were used and then forgotten, which are changed by nature and time. I bring them back into our everyday life – a life in which we strive for the ideal environment- the seductive artificial marketing spaces of advertising photography, spaces of a contemporary still-life.
